Anxiety, Fear, & Worry

The mental health trinity!  That is what I call anxiety, fear, and worry.  Fear causes worry, excessive worry causes anxiety, and anxiety causes you to have trouble being calm and confident in your everyday life.

Fear is the root!  Where there is anxiety, there is also a fear fueling it.  Through counseling we can determine what your fear is and how it is impacting your thoughts and behavior.

Worry is like sitting in a rocking chair.  You’re moving but you’re not going anywhere!  Worrying is the process of thinking about things over and over (typically a fueled by a fear) without implementing any action.  I work to help my clients go from overthinking thinking to executing action in their life.

Anxiety occurs when fear goes unchecked and worry becomes excessive.  Anxiety makes it difficult to make important decisions, trouble sleeping and difficulty focusing on a daily basis and other disturbances.  Anxiety isn’t the most diagnosed mental health issue for no reason.  Anxiety can be sparked by an infinite number of fears and worries.  Through counseling and/or coaching we work to win the battle in your mind by rationalizing those fearful and anxious thoughts and creating healthy behaviors and habits. 

Services consist of an assessment session where I gather all the information necessary to determine your needs. Individual sessions will follow until your goals are complete.  Email support may be given in between sessions.  All sessions are 50 minutes long. I believe that services should only be given as needed and once clients have reached their goals, services should be ended (so no dragging things out).
