Boundaries
Are you afraid to say “No?” Do you feel anxiety when you have to disagree with someone? Do you have trouble standing up to your parents? Do you often feel unheard by others? If you answered “Yes!” to any of these questions, you may have a boundary issue. Setting boundaries is key to developing healthy relationships, and for many people, it is extremely hard to do! Fear, worry, and anxiety often creep in when it’s time to tell that friend “no” or to implement some rules with your parents. A lack of boundaries can lead to unhealthy relationships, low self-esteem, and feelings of sadness. Through counseling and/or coaching I work to help my clients become more confident and gain an understanding of how to set boundaries in their relationships. Setting boundaries contributes to having relationships that are beneficial for both parties and increases your confidence.
Services consist of an assessment session where I gather all the information needed and work with you to determine your needs. Individual sessions will follow until your goals are complete. Email support may be given in between sessions. All sessions are 50 minutes long. I believe that Services should only be given as needed and once clients have reached their goals, services should be ended (so no dragging things out).
